The Phone
The Phone is a Dutch television reality series, which is created Beau van Erven Dorens, by Willem Brom and Marc Bennink.
In each series two cellular phones will be hidden at arbitrary places by the manufacturers of this series. The phones will start ringing and the people will be from that moment participants from the game. Both of these people have a possibility of winning $25,000 by cooperating from the search for achievement of these assignments. The most part of the series is as being a movie as opposed to a reality series, it's filmed. It was inspired by films like Die Hard with a Vengeance.
People broadcaster AVRO on July 6, 2007 aired The Phone's first episode. The series has been sold to 52 different countries.
It won the Reality prize at the 2008 Rose d'Or ceremony.
