In a world where time moves at a creep and the blood of one's neighbor runs blue, 17 year-old high school student Ayato Kamina goes on his everyday life over Tokyo Jupiter unaware to the entire world around himhaving been educated with the simple fact the civilization but Tokyo has been destroyed. However, that changes when the mystical civilization"MU" invades his home, raining destruction from the sky in the kind of strange monsters called Dolems. The events which happen will lead Ayato into the mystical woman named Reika Mishima and to the effective robot RahXephon.
