Jack Taylor
Jack Taylor is an Irish television drama. Place in Galway, the show celebrities Iain Glen at the eponymous role of Jack Taylor, a former officer with the Garda Síochána who becomes a"finder" after leaving the service. Taylor is a person who goes looking for clues. He also knows his hometown's streets .
The show was broadcast on TV3 in Ireland on two August 2010, and subsequently aired together with Dutch subtitles. February 2013, it received its UK debut on Channel 5 to 21. The show has already been made available. It's received mixed reviews. Bernice Harrison of this Irish Times believed that the show was spoiled by Glen's voice overs, which gave the character the feel of a gumshoe in a film noir. But David Stephenson of the Daily Express said he had been hooked with the strong starting order of the first episode. A private investigator interviewed from The Guardian's Laura Barnett said that he found that the show amusing, however that it did not give an accurate portrayal of his profession.
