I Spy
I is an American television secretagent experience series. It ran for three seasons on NBC and teamed Robert Culp as tennis player Kelly Robinson together with Bill Cosby because his coach Alexander Scott. The characters' journeys as ostensible"tennis bums", Robinson playing with talented tennis as an amateur with all the wealthy in substitution for food and lodging, and Scott labeling along, provided that the cover story hiding their functions as top agents to the Pentagon. Their real labour kept them busy chasing women, spies, and villains.
The creative forces behind the show were Morton Fine and authors David Friedkin and cinematographer Fouad Said. They formed three F Productions under the aegis of Desilu Studios at which the show had been produced. Friedkin and fine were co-producers and head authors, and wrote the scripts for 16 episodes, one which Friedkin guided. Friedkin also dabbled in acting and appeared in two episodes.
Actor-producer Sheldon Leonard, famous for playing gangster roles from '50s and the 1940s, was the producer. He played with a gangster-villain role in two episodes and looked in a show as himself in a cameo. Additionally, he directed an incident and functioned as intermittent second unit manager during the series.
